|The Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s passion for superbikes is known to almost every cricket fan and the skipper is now enjoying his timeout after finishing the fourth Test with two days to spare against Australia.
MS Dhoni went to Buddh International Circuit on Monday, country's Formula One track and rode his 'X132 Hellcat', which he bought last year. The Indian captain even owns a team in FIM Supersport World Championship. This was Dhoni’s first visit to the BIC.
"It was an amazing experience. I think I am a bit late to come here. But surely I will come during the Super Sports series races. Driving Hellcat was good but will bring a sports bike next time around," said Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
The Indian captain was accompanied by his deputy, Virat Kohli, fast-bowler Ishant Sharma, spinner Pragyan Ojha, Ajinkya Rahane and master blaster Sachin Tendukar.
Sachin Tendulkar, who waved the chequered flag during the inaugural Indian Grand Prix in 2011, had a taxi ride as a BIC official drove him around the free-flowing circuit. Ishant Sharma drove his own Audi RX5 while Kohli also drove a sports car.
"It was one of the best experiences. I have never driven so fast," said a delighted Virat Kohli.
