ICC World T20: Day 10

The Super-8 matches kick start from today

On day-10 of the ICC World T20, home favourites Sri Lanka will set-up a Super-8 clash against New Zealand at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Kandy.

New Zealand will heavily depend on its key players like Brendon McCullum, Daniel Vettori, Tim Southee etc. While the trump card for the hosts Sri Lanka in the bowling department would be Lasith Malinga and Ajantha Mendis.

The second match of the day will be played between defending champions England and tournament favourites West Indies at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Kandy. The English team will have to learn from the mistakes of their previous game loss against India and come up with a much spirited performance against West Indies.

Group 1- England (A1), Pakistan (D2) South Africa (C1) and West Indies (B2)

Group 2 - Australia (B1), India (A2), New Zealand (D1), Sri Lanka (C2)
